Our Origin

One life. A lasting movement.

The TRFoundation was born from love, grief, and the kind of pain that changes you forever. We started The Resilience Foundation in memory of our best friend Thamesh Ramjit — he wasn’t just someone we lost, he was family.

“This is real. We’re hurting, but we’re trying. We’re showing up for each other, for our families, and for anyone out there who’s lost someone they love.”

Our Impact

Honoring lives. Supporting families. Empowering futures.

We made a promise, and we’re keeping it.

Because of our foundation of donors, all overhead costs are covered. Every single dollar you give fuels real support, real healing, and real change.

Florida State University

Recognizing students who turn compassion into action.

The Thamesh Ramjit Student Philanthropist of the Year Award at Florida State University honors undergraduate students who exemplify servant leadership, community dedication, and a commitment to meaningful giving — created in partnership with the FSU Student Foundation, and awarded each fall at the Philanthropy Banquet.

2025 · Inaugural Recipient — Ramzi Rosario. We’re proud to congratulate Ramzi as the first-ever recipient of this award. His dedication to service, leadership, and giving back to the FSU community reflects exactly the legacy of Thamesh Ramjit that this award was created to honor.
